Brown cow horn 1 1/4  inch cylinder that is 4 1/2 inches long can be used for knife handles, ramrod handles, turning applied or screw tips for powder horns and powder measure. (Imported Water Buffalo Horn) These polished buffalo horn cylinders, or rolls as they are often called, are great for the above items. They are easy to turn on a lathe or shape with files or a belt sander. The horn is generally brown but some streaking may occur, which often lends unique character to the finished piece.
