Description

This is a Cureton© Deluxe Priming horn and instead of lathe turning a wooden finial onto the baseplug, I mounted a Treso Small Finial instead. This of course allows a person the ability to pour their powder into a somewhat larger opening instead of the 5/16″ spout hole. Also, instead of using solid brass nails around the base, I space 8 little 1/16″ birch pegs around it instead.

The horn comes complete with a lace carry strap and an ebony violin peg stopper.

The Priming horn is 4 to 6″ on the bottom curve and will measure less than 2″ in diameter. .
