Early on in my horn-making career, I had to decide that I cannot keep them all, no matter how nice they might be!  Our mostly white series of horns has me rethinking that on occasion.

These are made identical to the Deluxe Powder Horns, except they are mostly white. This ranges from lightly mottled to snowy white, and it just depends on the horns available at the time of building. The standard finish is highly polished. The large powder horn will generally run from 10 1/2 to 14″ long on the bottom curve and be less than 2 3/4″ in diameter.

The acorn finial is a symbol of luck back in the day and is a very functional and secure integrated finial.  The tip features three decorative grooves, a band, and a strap groove. Out of that, a series of contoured flats arise. The base plug includes a banded acorn, 3-4 decorative grooves.

Color at the tip will vary.
