This is a beautiful style horn! MADE TO ORDER!  The horn pictured is an example, not the actual horn you are getting.  Each horn is a little different since these are hand crafted and COLORS VARY.

The horn will have a cherry or walnut base plug, depending on availability of wood.  The sample picture has a cherry base plug.

The tip is like most originals of a backwoods nature, a round tip that is reduced behind it for the strap, fiddle peg stopper drilled with a hole for a lanyard and nicely aged to look like patina or tea/onion skin stain as they did to hide the white in them.

The base plug is an original design of my own.   It is held into a round base with hardwood pins. Gentle F&I twist with a traditional  tip.  Rosewood violin peg stopper.

This is a real beauty!  Comes with a 3/8 x 72 strap you can cut to length or leave long with several slits for length, especially to wear over hunting clothes.
