Description
This is almost identical to the mostly white horn. They differ in that the baseplug does not have a finial, but instead an iron staple. Instead of brass tacks around the base, this has hardwood pegs. The standard finish is hand rubbed satin. This is a good selection for a late 18th Century style powder horn. The horn will typically measure from 10 1/2 to 14″ along the bottom curve and will be less than 2 3/4″ in diameter. .
