We have been involved in Rendezvous, Historical Re-enactment, Competitive Shooting, and organized muzzleloading for over three decades. We are enthusiastic supporters of our 2nd Amendment rights and enjoy membership priviledges in the National Rifle Association and the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association. In addition, we are charter members of the Traditional Muzzleloading Association (where I am currently serving as Newsletter Editor), the International Black Powder Hunting Association and the Coeur d'Alene Muzzleloaders. In addition to that, we are involved in other interests such as classic automobiles, music and genealogy. We are proud to mention that we are Christian people and try to conduct our personal lives and our business dealings according to these beliefs.
In 1983 we purchased October Country from the original owners and moved it to Post Falls, Idaho. A series of moves took us to Hayden and finally to Dalton Gardens where we spent about 14 years working and growing the business. In 1992 we purchased Cureton Powder Horns and in 1996 we acquired Ol' Thunder Manufacturing. In 2005 we sold October Country and moved to California where we are now operating Powderhorns and More, Inc. The sale of October Country necessitated the changing of a few things. We could not call our original style powder horns October Country Horns anymore so we now call them Ol' Thunder horns or O/T Horns for short. That's where the O/T comes from.

If an item is listed as in stock, it is shipped within 24 hours of receipt of order. If the item is not in stock, your order will be given priority basis and typically will be shipped within one week of receipt.
Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:
For any reason, if the item you purchased from us does not meet your expectations, you may return it to us for either a refund of your pruchase price or replacement, at your option. You do not need a return authorization, but please include a copy of your invoice. Should you have purchased one of our products from another source, it is best if you deal directly with them. If the item you are returning is a powder horn and it has been used, please remove all black powder prior to shipping. An order can be cancelled at any time prior to shipping with no consequences simply by e-mailing us with your name and address and the date of your order.
