02-473 O/T Fancy Priming Horn (NEW)

Like all our other O/T series powder horns, these come with a black walnut base plug attached to the natural shape horn in a manner that guarantees an airtight seal. The stopper is a rosewood violin peg and the finial is also rosewood. The tip receives a series of decorative flats which blend into two grooves filed into the horn. Lastly, there is a strap groove placed a short distance behind them. The horn is suspended from a 3/8 x 54" oil tanned leather strap. The priming horns are usually from 4 to 6" long as measured on the bottom curve.
