02-366 Cureton Standard Large Powder Horn

Our Standard Powder Horns are a definite step up from the Basic horn. They maintain the plain tip with a strap groove. However, the base plug is individually hand turned from a piece of hard maple. The simple acorn anchors the carry strap. For a distinctive appearance there is a decorative groove cut around the base plug as well as a concave relief in from the groove. The standard finish is antiqued and polished. A large powder horn will measure from 10 1/2 to 14" and be from 2 1/4 to 2 3/4" in diameter.
